Mode of Action

Metarhizium anisopliae spores attach to the insect surface, germinate, and penetrate the insect cuticle. The fungus proliferates within the insect body, leading to cessation of feeding and eventual death of the target pest. Under suitable conditions, the fungus sporulates on the insect cadaver, aiding natural spread within pest populations.
